Your 2010 funding questions answered
In preparing for the 2010 academic year Te Pou sought change in how post-entry clinical training is delivered to support skill development in services.
These changes were made to the Skills Matter funded programmes to improve quality, create links to support the implementation of Let’s get real and provide a transparent pathway for funding accountability.
All Skills Matter funded programmes are underpinned by quality education frameworks that already exist.
Programmes, providers and places for 2010
There are six Skills Matter funded programmes:
- New Entry to Specialist Practice - Mental Health and Addiction Nursing
- New Entry to Specialist Practice - Allied Mental Health and Addiction
- New Entry to Specialist Practice - Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Addiction
- Clinical Leadership in Nursing Practice
- Co-existing Substance Use and Mental Health
- Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in Mental Health and Addiction
The travel and accommodation assistance grant will also continue in 2010.
