Mental health support worker

Mental health support workers are more commonly employed by community non-governmental organisations (NGOs) than district health boards (DHBs). Mental health support workers can be found in services such as community adult mental health, inpatient services, child adolescent and family, service for the elderly and forensic services (in some district health boards).
